Driving change on the shop floor for global food company

Lanark provided operational resources and a reporting solution for a worldwide food company. This allowed the manufacturer to switch to a new warehouse management system (SAP EWM) and gain better business insights.

The challenge?

This international food company was using the same warehouse management system (WMS) for the past 20 years. Switching to a new tool requested a solid approach and much needed change management. Furthermore, the company struggled to have standardised reporting, allowing for well-considered decision making.

Lanark’s solution

Lanark provided operational back-fill in the warehouse administration team of this global food company. In addition, Lanark's supply chain engineers were responsible for training the operators on the shop floor.

The supply chain engineers at Lanark designed and developed a full reporting solution, with a similar look-and-feel of the existing reports, to minimise the impact on the users, yet maximise efficiency and transparency. Following this, Lanark also designed and implemented an operational and technical Business Continuity Plan.
