How Lanark was born
As a young engineer, Wim Farasyn took a deep dive into supply chain. His genuine interest in and passion for systems, processes and optimisation grew steadily over the years. His professional journey is characterised by complex projects in diverse and international settings, with a strong hands-on involvement.
The seed for Lanark was planted during the Duracell carve-out from Procter & Gamble. This 1-year project involved implementing SAP from scratch, setting up 10 warehouses and organising transport in 80 countries. Soon after the project was completed, Wim realised this is what he wanted to do: complex supply chain transformations and system implementations with a close-knit team.
At the end of 2018, with the support of Talenco’s managing director Jens Hendrickx, Lanark was a fact. Its goal? To take our customers’ end-to-end supply chain to the next level: from the product life cycle and administration, over planning and operations, to logistics and customer service.
