The 3PL at this multinational bakery group was not performing to standard. The service levels were in fact so low, that this family-owned company was not sure the 3PL could handle the next peak in demand. The company already received several complaints from their customers, and noticed customers were switching to alternative suppliers. As this implied a significant business risk, urgent action was required.

When Lanark came in, the team performed an end–to–end audit of the full warehouse processes, and created an elaborate and urgent improvement plan. Lanark’s supply chain engineers then supported operationally in implementing these changes.
