Tailored ERP system to fit business needs of Belgian brewer

Lanark enabled the implementation of a tailored ERP system at a Belgian brewer, by providing key user support and closing the gap between business and IT. As such, the ERP solution fits the true business needs of this manufacturer.

The challenge?

A Belgian family-owned brewing company implemented a new ERP system, SAP S4. Unfortunately, they were not able to properly staff the business key users. This was however crucial to bridge the gap between the external IT partner and the operations department.

Lanark’s solution

Lanark filled this gap by staffing the key users for procurement, planning and warehousing. This allowed the brewer to go live with a customised system, as through Lanark’s support the ERP solution was tailored to meet their business needs.

The Lanark team also trained the users of the brewing company, having a clear focus on the business and operational perspective of the new ERP, instead of merely having a pure IT technical training.

Lanark was, next to the aftercare, also responsible for the master data development, and ultimately handed over the role to an internal employee to ensure continuity.
