Holistic approach to drive internal projects for growth

At a glance
This European clothing manufacturer had a clear view on its future, with a growth ambition of + 40%. However, the plans developed to support this did not fit this strategy. Lanark came with a holistic approach, provided pros and cons, suggested a more flexible alternative, and gave operational support.
The challenge?
With their ambitious growth plans, the existing approach for goods receipt, storage and order processing was no longer suitable at this European clothing manufacturer. Although the company developed some – partial – plans for automation and RFID, these plans lacked an overall, helicopter-view approach.
Lanark’s solution
The supply chain engineers at Lanark developed a holistic approach to support the growth plans. Lanark demonstrated that the initial automation plans would have been inadequate and unnecessarily expensive. Therefore, the team proposed an alternative solution, which was more flexible and less expensive to implement. They also provided a shortlist of suppliers.
At the same time, Lanark foresaw operational support, in both procurement and customer service, and delivered the project management for an RFID and automation project.
